Bringing the Aprios Brand to Life: Full-Day Video & Photo Shoot Production
Challenge
With our rebrand from Diversified Plastics to Aprios Custom MFG, we needed more than just a new name—we needed to tell a new story. The goal was to formally launch the Aprios brand, introduce our new narrative and visual identity, and show customers who we are today, through the voices of our team and the reality of our day-to-day operations.
Approach
I planned and directed a full-day photo and video shoot to capture both scripted brand messaging and authentic behind-the-scenes footage from our facilities.
Key steps included:
Interview planning: I developed a bank of thoughtful, open-ended questions for executives, engineers, and managers to draw out nuanced stories about our culture, values, rebranding journey, and design-for-manufacturing approach.
Shot list creation: I mapped out a detailed plan of b-roll visuals across both of our facilities to highlight our manufacturing capabilities and team culture.
Production oversight: I hired and managed a professional videographer/photographer, oversaw interview staging, and served as on-site director to ensure every segment aligned with our brand voice and storytelling goals.
Deliverables
8 polished videos for the website, covering who we are, what we do, and how we help customers—from both our West and North locations. These now serve as key content on our About and Capabilities pages.
80+ short-form clips optimized for social media distribution, especially LinkedIn. I clipped down interview answers, added branded subtitles, and formatted them vertically for high engagement.
Results
30+ average likes per video on LinkedIn, with strong engagement and positive feedback from both customers and team members
Elevated brand perception through modern, human-centered video content
Created an ongoing library of reusable video assets for future content marketing
Challenges & Lessons Learned
Managing massive file sizes and post-production complexity was the biggest hurdle. By working with a dedicated video editor and using DropBox, Asana, and Adobe Premiere, we were able to organize and deliver the content on time and at high quality.
Key Insight
A successful brand launch isn’t just about messaging—it’s about showing real people doing meaningful work. By guiding this production from start to finish, I helped create a content foundation that makes Aprios feel real, relatable, and ready for what’s next.
