About Me

Behind the Work

I’m a revenue operations leader and sales practitioner who thinks in frameworks and has experience building them out. I started out my business career somewhat unconventionally in rhetoric and writing, then spent the past decade asking tons of questions about how businesses actually run.

At the same time, I’m just a person figuring things out as I go: flawed, ambitious, and still learning. I believe good process is a form of care, not control, and that strong teams are built on trust first, talent second.

Foundation

MA in Advanced Writing & Rhetoric, BA in Editorial Journalism & English Writing – St. Cloud State University.

Early Career

500+ hours consulting writers from 50+ countries as Assistant Director of the SCSU Writing Centers. Learned that teaching is really just change management with a gentler name.

The through-line

Every role I've held, teacher, consultant, sales rep, ops leader, has been about making complex things clear and helping people move forward towards their goals.

Values

Four Values. Every Decision Runs Through Them.

Authenticity – Show up as the real me, even when it’s messy

I've spent enough time in rooms where people perform professionalism instead of actually practicing it. The version of me you get at work is the same one that shows up everywhere else — curious, direct, occasionally imperfect, and always trying. Authenticity isn't a brand value for me. It's just the only sustainable way to operate.

Service – Lead with generosity. Leave things better than I found them.

I was raised with the idea that you don't take more than you give. Those words of wisdom have shaped how I approach every team, every project, and every relationship. Service isn't a soft value. It's a professional (and maybe even spiritual) discipline.

Honesty – Voice my truth, especially when it matters

Easy honesty isn't the kind that counts. The kind that counts is when you have to tell a stakeholder the CRM rollout is going sideways, or tell a rep their closing ratio is hiding a prospecting problem, or admit that my own idea isn't working.

Empathy – Listen deeply. See the human first.

Most of the problems I've been called in to solve weren't really process problems or technology problems. They were people problems. Empathy isn't about being soft. It's about being accurate and seeing the entire picture in all its messiness and nuance.

Becoming is the Point

Growth is impossible without pain

Pain isn't the enemy, it's your best and most dedicated teacher. Every hard moment holds the potential for insight, resilience, and transformation.

One challenge a day

Growth doesn't just come from enduring hard things, it comes from presence within them. Some days the challenge is leaning in. Other days it's allowing yourself to feel good without earning it first.

Structure & meaning are yin & yang

Sometimes a clear vision creates the routines that support it. Other times structure itself creates the space where meaning emerges. I strive to create both within my work.

Lead with the heart

The mind is powerful, but it’s at its best as a servant, not a master. Intuition, presence, and compassion create more sustainable momentum than pure logic.

Lycklig

The Swedish word that means happiness, luck, and success all at once. Happiness isn't what you earn after achieving. It's where aligned living begins. Luck is what happens when you see the world more fully and how much opportunity there is for all of us.

What to Expect When Working With Me

Strategic thinking with practical follow-through

I connect vision to real-world action. The systems I build don't just sound good in a meeting, they work in real conditions.

Clarity in ambiguity

I'm at my best when there's no playbook yet. Building structure into messy situations is where I find the most energy.

Communication that meets people where they are

Whether it's a board deck or a one-on-one with a struggling rep, I adjust the message to fit the audience without changing what's true.

A genuine growth mindset

The kind where I'll admit what I don't know and update my approach when the evidence changes.

Things I’m Still Working On

Progress Over Perfection

I'm learning to trust that a good thing shipped is more valuable than a perfect thing still being refined.

Pilot Before you Scale

I love building comprehensive systems. I'm actively learning to validate small before I build big.

Letting Good Enough be Good Enough

High standards are a genuine strength — and they can slow momentum if not calibrated to the stakes.
